Job description

In a context of increasing activity for our client and under the supervision of the technical affairs manager, you will be in charge of carrying out mechanical tests on traction, compression and bending machines. More specifically, you will have to ensure:

Setting up test assemblies
Dimensional measurement of test pieces
The placement of the test pieces on the machine and its associated sensors
Machine control during testing
Exploitation of test data
Writing the test report
Traceability of tests carried out and of test parts or specimens
Check the references provided and create them when necessary
Identify samples and store them in suitable containers

We are interested in your profile

With a Bac +2 or Bac +3 degree in Laboratory Science and Technology, Physical Measurements or Materials, you have initial successful experience in this field. You demonstrate autonomy, innovation, verbal and writing skills, and enjoy working in a team. Scientific curiosity and rigor are also expected qualities.

Skills sought

Knowledge in performing tensile, bending and compression tests
Knowledge in the experimental assembly of mechanical tests
Knowledge of metallic materials
English reading and writing (level A2)

Remuneration

Gross annual salary: between €28,000 and €35,000 depending on profile
